I was giving my old Chessie Glucosamine Chondroitin but found Meloxicam really helped with the pain. Your vet can write a script for it and it costs about 25 bucks , or at least it did. Needless to say both doses were weight related ; mg : kg. I stuck them in bread with peanut butter and she would gobble them up.
