This comment doesn't sit well with me. It was clearly intended to make it sound like all FFF cares about is being able to hunt her this fall when the only reason he's mentioned the season opener is due to this being a HUNTING forum. Do better.Quote:

My chocolate lab had bout of diarrhea last Friday. I took the day off to be with her. No way I was going to leave her when she looked at me for help...
Don't distress too much. Having it looked after more to minimize risk of traumatic injury than anything else. If he was more elegant like a typical setter won't worry as much but he's more of a bulldozer than a ballet dancer when it come to the uplands. Hope you pup is feeling better this summer with the heat and wet weather making for alot of bad puddles that dogs just can't resist from drinking fromQuote:

So Nova is sleeping off the anesthesia and all is well. Handed him off to me wearing a cone of shame and all I could think was "great always had a good nose now they added radar". They removed a cyst so should heal without incidence. 10-14 days recovery than try to get him (and me) fit for the fall.
