Turns out the trip included a first for me. Finished cleaning the last of the haul this morning. One of the slot walleyes was tagged by MNRF:

I would say you did good, Loblaws wants $79.34 a kg for some tiny Lake Perch Fillets and $50.68 for Pickerel per kg.
I had a hard time believing that so checked their website and you are correct - that's insane. According to Loblaws last night's dinner was fit for royalty:Quote:

Personally I catch them in the Spring but toss then back as they are to small to bother with. LOL
