Welcome to the forum pnagelmakers.( I've done that too. :) )
Thought I would up date as the post is BTT. I brought her home and we gave her to one of my wifes sons friends.
He loves her and treats her like gold. He is not a hunter , but excercise her often and his mother walks her on her lunch breaks.
She is living in Dundas.
Kind of strang finding her like that. I have lost hounds with my father , but aways left a coat and came back. This dog looked adandon.

I love to hear about stuff like this, especially when it works out as well as this one. This may be a good time and place to mention this. My daughter works with an organization that rescues dogs from "kill" shelters. She,among many other folks, "fosters" rescued dogs until adoptions (called fur-ever homes) can be arranged. I've seen this in action and I'm telling you,it's amazing. The website is www.savemytail.ca
People regularly abandon dogs at dog parks. They figure some dog loving person will feel badly for the dog and take it home. Fortunately this usually happens but irresponsible ploy.
