Bob white quail rules have changed big time over the last couple years . We can't use them in pointing breed field trials anymore. Game farms can use them. Check it out with the MNR
Can I raise them for food for myself?
Bob White is on the endangered species list, MNR don't allow to release them anymore. WRT keeping them, I don't think so, but ask MNR. There are couple other types of quail you can use for food (if that's what you really want ;) ) - Coturnix and Tennessee RedQuote:
