Used one years ago when I was hanging out at Katicks Gun Supplies in North Gower. They are a bit of work to reload and doesn't feed all that smoothly, don't know if it is the same brand as the one you are looking at.

No experience with the drum mag, but I have two 25 round steel lips mags that clip together back to back. I've been stopped by the CO and no mention was made. CO would only care if you had more than three in your shotgun. No mag restrictions for rimfire as far as I know...
