I doubt you will need anything but your Ontario hunting licence.
Make sure it is legal to hold two different provincial driver's licences though. I know that here in the NWT they are very scrupulous about proving residency for certain things. You may have to surrender your Ontario driver's licence.
Lots of good hunting in AB within reasonable distance of Edmonchuck. I was in Cold Lake for 9 years and loved it.
Here you go....all the info you need.

Thanks Kilo, I appreciate it. I have purchased a small acreage outside Forestburg, east of Camrose.
Maurice, I am a senior, lol
pointers rule, thank you for the BC regs, lol
Woody 1948,When you go for your hunting and fishing license here you just go to your local hunting supply store, most Canadian Tire stores have them, (and they also sell rifles here as well) You fill out an application writting your DL, proof of hunting safety from somewhere else, and ususally they will want your Alberta Health number. Fill all that out payan 8 dollar win card fee, and then your concervation fees, then what ever licenses you want.
Thank you for your response BW, I will do it just as you say.
When you get here, if you want I could share some of my hunting areas with you, or just go for coffee.... Welcome to Alberta
