Shot one a couple years back near my cottage close to Vankoughnet. It was a young bear about 175lbs and he was delicious actually my favorite game I have had.An interesting note. My butcher said to get the best out of bear he would remove all the connective tissue between the different muscle groups as this was what would add the strong greasy flavor .I had it made up in steaks, chops, roasts and instead of burger , sausage. It was all awesomene.
