If you go to maps and publication, then maps, the hard copy version is what I mentioned in the earlier posts. This map shows the Marlborough forest. It looks like this map is out of stock though.

Here it is, step by step.
Click on Link #1 in post #6. Zoom in to the general area of the Marlborough forest. Now click on Aerial maps - this will give you satellite images. Then click on More Layers, Property parcels, and make sure you enter this menu item and click Township Lot Lables. You will see the property lines along with all the lots and concession numbers. With the info in link #2 in post#6, you will have a good idea of the public parcels by referring to the indicated lot and concession numbers in the map at the end of the document. The only thing missing from this is an updated listing of the public parcels from the City of Ottawa and a listing of which of these are under lease to someone. This last bit if information is what I would like to get, but I have not been successful.
With regards to your comment about "west of Richmond", don't forget that this is a City of Ottawa site, so coverage ends once outside of the City of Ottawa. That is irrelelvent though if you are looking for information on the Marlborough forest.

I thought that you were pointing to this map to show a layer that contained the city of Ottawa public forests, which it does not.
Thanks for the info, I am trying to figure out what areas I should look for houses about 30min from Ottawa and in WMU 64A. I will not be moving east or north, I would go west or south west of the city.
It would be good to know if the properties are next to the public land or not, my dad is near public land where he is and it can complicate things with trespassing.
