Pump action 22's?

My gun looks and functions like a center fire. Beautiful walnut stock with a nice gloss finish, nicely cut checkering, and deep bluing. Maybe they have cheapened them, but my 30+ year old gun is a looker.

I really miss that gun.. My dad got his in thr 70's as well lol.. Got stolen shortly after it was registered.. I find that funny.. (Or sad)
Held one a few weeks ago at Lebarons. It felt like the real thing. The Chekeri g was all there.. Good wood stock.. The bolt slid nice.. Was quality.. But the price was $600+

Little late jumping on this post, but my dads got a little Rossi pump .22 that I have been playing with for years. This little rifle is like some kind of good luck charm... I can't believe the accuracy I get out of those iron sights. It seems to always surprise me when I make those tricky shots first time. 5 acorns in a row at 30 yards, squirrel in the head at 100. It may be luck, but at this rate I'll take it!

I had a beautiful Browning pump .22 I bought when I was a kid and sold it after a few years to fund another project, have been kicking myself in the arse ever since. I'll never do that again:)

I have a Winchester 62A...the gun Rossi copied. It is accurate, light, and classy. But pumps just never really caught fire, sales-wise.
Best bet is a used Rossi or Winchester 62. The Winchester 61 and 1890 are great too but becoming prohibitively expensive.
If I could have just one pump .22 I would spend the money to buy a nice Winchester 1890 in any of the chamberings it came in: .22 Short, .22 Long , .22 Long Rifle or .22 Winchester Rim Fire, known in the old days as the .22 Extra Long. One of the most gorgeous guns ever produced. Good ones now run about $1200.00 if anyone will sell you one!
