Rabbit population is down on my place from last year especially comparing from this spring and I don't even shoot them.
It doesn't help that we have a family of foxes that I don't bother for now, and of course the ever present coyotes.
Was just out at Marlborough Forest today seen 2 rabbits in 2 hours and got 1.
got 3 in my backyard almost every night, they love the neighbors garden lol
Cottontails have been good in Belleville and pickton areas.
Is that how far you travel to rabbit hunt? In my beagling days we used to hunt up around Markdale, Brucedale, Grand Valley. Those covers must not be recognizable now.Quote:
