The monster is indeed a splake , there is no lakers in this lake . Specs and splake , the smaller ones have the spec spots and same tail . This lake does not have anny joining streams to anny other lakes and is a stocked lake .

My friend you have no idea where I'm fishing let alone that you are preaching to the choir . I release all large fish I catch , I'm a firm believer that the limit should be 4 or even less , and the slot should be be 16-22" set free . My girls no very well what it is to conserve and protect the wildlife . But I thank you very much for reminding me why I have not posted here in years . Well done sir . It certainly is the guys like yourself that the rest of the good people ( what's left of them ) are talking about . Cheers
