My brother in law currently has it as well, he lives out in Alberta and was told it was from working in the mines and doe other jobs he was doing. He was given some meds as well and was told the symptoms will go away with in a week or so, but like mentioned before full recovery could take a little time. Good luck with the recovery.
My wife hd it about 20 years ago, lasted about three months and never came back. Knock on wood
LOL, that's what I used to call my son when he had it at a very young age, but like others have said, it went away after a few weeks and hasn't returned.Quote:

Years ago I had all the tendons in my left hand shortened and had a reaction to the operation. My left arm swelled up and touching my arm would send me through the roof with pain. My daily routine was to arrive at the hospital at 7 am, have freezing injected in my neck to freeze the left arm. Wait 45 minutes head to the other hospital, therapy 8-12 then 1-5. Well some days it didn't go so well and they froze the left side of my face. On a bad day the joker told me ,not to worry about my arm and should be more concerned about my face. They hit the nerves to my face and my eye and lips staged,and I couldn't talk. I still laugh about it. Those days, they sent me home.

They're both fine after the initial attack except one of them got it twice almost 15 years apart. It' scares the crap out you until you find out what it is,but,after a while it goes away.
