Best beginner mallard call?

One of the best ones happens to be the cheapest one.. youtube. I like to practice in my car on my way to work. I live in Toronto and have plenty of down time in my car..
By the way, some 'beginner' calls come with instructional DVDs.

I'm not knocking the calls mentioned. I've heard some guys run a dr85 like stink, but these guys can run any call.

It takes a long time to really get it. I got bad habits from using double reeds and it took a long time to reverse.

I 100% agree, and furthermore suggest the Zink NBG great duck call....

Thanks guys got him the wench with DVD. But I am also looking into single reeds for myself and gonna take your advice.
