I'm not so sure it's a yeast infection. You say the dog has been in the lake quite a bit. That could give a parasitic skin infection which goldens are prone to when they spend lots of time in the lake. Just two cents and I don't want to say more because I'm no vet.

could be allergy, could be worms.
Anal glands can get stuffed quickly if her stools are soft. May was a long time ago.
It's not a rocket science to check on your own, if you're willing to learn.

Much better thanks, smell is gone and no longer licking her paws. Not rubbing her butt on the ground near as much. Tried a natural remedy, a diluted vinegar rinse after her bath, a foot soak in a diluted mix of peroxide and vinegar. Some of the same mix in a spray bottle for her feet ,for after she goes in the water. Smell is gone and no longer licking her paws so it seems to have worked, thanks to all, for their input. And yes I have been using Acidophilus on her ..... and me as well.
