I think a lot of us forget how uncomfortable it was to talk openly and honestly about sex to with our parents (Hey mom, I'm 12 and have hair growing down there). For what's it's worth my parents were great but their ability to answer questions about sex would have been based on the health classes they took in the 60's. Wonder how well that would have gone?
The world my kids are growing up in is very different from the one I did, there is a good chance that someone else might have some insight that I lack.
When my kids were in grade school my wife ran the parents council so we pretty well attended all meetings. I also have several friends who are teachers. Not once do I remember hearing anybody complain that the existing sex Ed curriculum was lacking. Interestingly when the government was taken over by a gay person she selected a man who is now a convicted pedophile to redesign the curriculum. Of course updates need to be ongoing but this new direction to some parents seems like agenda based grooming. Some parents disagree and for that are labeled as homophobic knuckle draggers. As always only Progressives are right.....something as family oriented and value based as sex Ed for children also deserves consultation. There wasn't any except for a few hand picked sheeple.

I can't believe how well it all worked. The "sex ed" curriculum was a big red herring and it was noshed with gusto.
You see, it was put out along with revisions to the rest of the Health and Physical Education Curriculum as part of the Mcguinty/ Wynne/ Trudeau coalition of national dominance. Sitting right along side the updated sex ed curriculum was the updated substance use and abuse curriculum. If the Conservative media had not been too busy tripping over themselves to get at the sensational peeny and giny bits (as well as the peeny peeny bits and giny giny bits :scream: ). They might have noticed that the substance use and abuse revision pushes the concept of "Harm reduction" which is the leftist spin term for relaxation of marijuana laws.... The slippery liberals begrudgingly allowed themselves to be swayed to remove the sexy bits for "discussion"; the rest of the curriculum has been used to brain wash the youth of this province for 5 years now and everything's falling into place. Do you think it's a coincidence that Trudeau has legalization as one of his platform planks??? :ninja:
Trust the polls all you want but you know what? They're wrong; because they're not asking the right people. That demographic doesn't get polled because they have the lowest voter turnout; they're the perfect sleeper cell (because they're usually sleeping). 1
