Oh, there's quite a few of us turkeys up this way! :silly: The ones with feathers however, were re-introduced several years ago on St. Joseph Island (WMU 45) The population did very well there, so much so, they now have a hunt. At some point shortly thereafter, we started seeing them over here on the mainland mostly around the Bruce Mines area I believe.

Raccoons will steal a fair amount of bait, since I switched carrots for apples, I don't see them much
put up the ground blind and wait for the show to start!!!! nice spot..
I've got a little better than a ground blind. Got me a nice stand I built a few years ago. Completely closed in with hinged windows, a few shelves for misc., old swivel office chair and a warm little buddy heater. Still use my pop-up if needed elsewhere, but for these old bones, I enjoy sitting in a bit of comfort.
