This one came from Amherstburg, do not have a spot near your farm.
I was aiming for the double lung , but pulled my shot.

Nice buck! Starting to see a lot of deer moving down here last few days. I had a young 6pt chasing a doe this morning, stopped him with a few grunts and he came and checked out my decoy for about 10 mins. I let him walk, waiting for his big brother tonight.

I found out the reason for the smaller body my buck had.
While butchering him I found an arrow in his neck, between the spine and the throat. Must have been there for at least a year maybe more. The broad head was almost dissolved and completely encased in cartilage, there was about 6-5 inches of arrow.
Poor bugger must of had a hard time for a while.
