I would say that a son of the landowner's spouse or as in Foxs case the landowners daughter inlaw is not legally eligible to receive a permit as she is not an immediate relative but thru marriage. If Fox owned the property then yes. Just cause you do it every yr doesn't mean it's legal. I really don't think they check that close and the person at the license office really doesn't ask or care who is on the paperwork as they just log it into the computer and out they pop
Exactly, we have asked, my dad's wife would be legal if she hunted because she is also on the deed but my wife is not as it is an inlaw. Our children will be allowed though as grandchildren are legal.Quote:

Sorry Dutchhunter but not the way the rules are wrote. I don't believe they would ever question it but as stated, before I purchased my own land I could not get a permit from using my father in-law who owns 100's of acres. It must be immediate family not an inlaw

The guys I hunt with is a farmer .we go to aylmer to mnr office .you get all the tags.farmers son is separated from first wife and remarried. Even his step kids get a farmers tag along with his new wife. Wife's and kids are family. Call alymer mnr and ask what immediately family means.it reads (an immediate relative is a person's grandparents. Parent. Spouse. Child siblings or grandchildren. ) .so if a grandchild is immediate family so is the mom.
Ok but read what you typed. No where is it stated a child's spouse! Sorry but that's great if you can get away with it but I have to disagree with you that it's legal. Grandkids are blood related in laws are not. When I asked it was explained to me like that and I am fine with that.
Is there any limit to the number of tags you can get under one land owner? Like I'm the landowner, so I apply for myself to get an f/l tag, I can also apply for my brothers or dad etc on the same parcel?
