When they sent off the 59 cruise missiles I woke up in the morning and was wondering how many sailors were saying "yes, finally got to shoot them things." Cruise missiles fly 100 feet in the air to avoid radar. Wonder what it is like having a beer on your patio and having 59 missiles go screaming by a hundred feet over your head. LOL

During the testing and train phase early in the 80's they would launch them and they were aimed for a point in the Cold Lake Weapons Range... They flew over the Fort Mac/Fort Mckay area every time. Not 59 at a time but I saw two of the well fishing on the Mckay river.
