Sounds like you definitely do not know anything about baboons and the damage and havoc they cause, intelligent to an extent, but talk to people that are from there or been there and have seen it, and you will change your mind.
Also sounds like you have been reading too many stories put out by PETA groups .

Nice animals. KMG, do these animals go to locals, what becomes of the meat from your game?

canadaman30, some of the meat is served in the lodge to our hunters. Some is then consumed by our own staff and workers. Some is turned into biltong (South African style jerky). Anything left after that is sold into market. In South Africa game meat can be purchased in the supermarket much like we would buy beef or chicken. The animals on your land are your property unlike here. This system encourages land owners to keep game for trophy hunting (income for the hunt) and selling of the meat (income from meat sales). This system can make it more profitable to keep your land wild, rather than domesticate it for sheep and cattle.

What would you consider to be the most challenging hunt of all species you have posted pic's of.

Big Gunner, I would have to say (if limited to just the pics in the post above) baboon would be one of the hardest. They have great eyesight and tend to keep a watchful eye out over the troop at all times. Baboons actually wreck perfectly executed stalks on plains game animals by sounding the alarm should you get to close. Most baboons are taken while out hunting something else. Targeting baboons by walk and stalk with no baiting is quite challenging.
For me though, one of the toughest hunts I had was a Barbary Sheep I hunted in South Africa. The mountain terrain combined with their sharp eyesight made it a very difficult hunt. You want to be in shape before you do that one, much like any mountain hunt I suppose.
