I would be interested to see what his annual costs are.
I pay roughly between $12-1600 a year depending on length of winter, temps etc. I think thats pretty good for a three bedroom bungalow with a finished basement that is heated 24/7 during the winter months.
I would be interested in his annual costs and if hes realy saving that much when all is said and done
That really doesnt seem worth it, or the numbers are off. My main floor is 22 during the day and 21 at night, my basement fluctuates between 18 when we're not down there and 20 when we are running the propane fireplace.
The lowest Ive paid since I lived in this house (2010) was $1000 for a year, and that includes tank rental and delivery.
Out this way Port Perry area, I see a lot of people using the 100 lb tanks that heat their house with propane. The cost to refill a 100 lb tank on the island is $65:00 We switched over to Natural Gas when they put the lines through some time ago...
76 cents/L this year, up 10 cents from last year, thank you carbon tax.
$0.03/litre for the carbon taxhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...31e35a3ce3.jpg

Carbon tax.......................it must be working as it is really cold outside, no more global warming..... WTG Liberals
We have a 1000l tank that we own. Fill it up maybe twice a winter with Fuels. We keep the house around 18 24/7. I am finishing the basement this winter with spray foam it should help
