Garbage is where the criminal doesn't get justice and based on the repeat offender rates, the condition of the world and things like handouts to terrorists.... I have talked to enough lefties and like you they seem to have an issue with people protecting their property and themselves so I actually feel sorry for your what is admittedly a "crazy left wing" mindset.

Now as I said.... this post confirms with the left in power the Castle Doctrine won't get in place ... As the article copied above says, we are to depend on the police and they could add build a safe room to hide in with a few pacifiers and a blanket.

It will be interesting to find out the details of the confrontation and other factors. Age, alcohol or drugs, criminal records, type of firearm, did they have any weapons... the "adding officers were on scene within minutes." actual number of minutes as compared to hours?... 4 or 40?, .... if they are willing to say or depending on race etc. they may just slap a publication ban on it.

I have seen people and their lawyers that had to do some pretty fancy foot work in court. My scenario is not far from the truth. Remember it has been decided by the courts that if someone breaks into your house and gets hurt well robbing you, you are responsible for their injuries.

I agree the left is winning the long game and its no wonder when you consider what the right has offered the voting public.Locally it was Tim Hudak with his 100,00 job cuts, something Doug Ford is going to do but does not have the parts to say so.Then we have Patrick Down for the count after 3 rounds,down South
we have the lying blow hard Tramp and his gang.How the hell are these people going to run the Province (not Tramp) when they cannot run their own party.

Yes, rather sad when you see integrity, hard work, responsibility and truth disappear into the post-truth, relativistic, moral ambivalent and gov't dependent sheep accepting Canada's moves toward the left. The quotes in the first post are actual real quotes from the left and it seems that some are right in their views about the decline of civilization into a Orwellian type gov't that allows for Aldous Huxley’s indictment, “Most of one’s life... is one prolonged effort to prevent thinking,”. They want to be told what to do and think rather than use their mind and the left along with the use of media like to tell people what they think they should know rather than the truth.
