My new waders sprung 3 leaks in the sole just out of warranty. The Best Foot Forward, thr shoemaker in Brantford fixed them up for me using a two part rubber repair.
Been using SEAL SKINZ socks for a lot of years now for all my hunting. Found out about them from a guy in the militia - they started wearing them to keep their feet dry while at Meaford for 2 weeks every year while on maneuvers.
You can stand in water in them up to the top of the sock and your feet stay perfectly dry!
I use Aquaseal for anything wader and boot related. Ripped a big hole in the side of my Muck boots this turkey season on a barbed wire fence. Repaired it with Aquaseal, no issues.
Kamik boots for the win. Treat em rough and toss em out when you wear em out. Best $40 you'll spend.
