No expert but I know people in the medical field, friends in the mental health field in Eastern Ontario, friends with chronic conditions with severe pain who have been given medical use permits for years, MS is a big one for chronic pain, please feel free to go up to them and tell them that it is a horrible thing that does nothing and they should have it taken away.Quote:

My main concern is that the legal age is the same as alcohol (19).
Medical studies have proven conclusively that THC consumption in any form effects frontal lobe brain development. Further, frontal lobe does not stop developing until the age of 25 ( approximate). This increases the chance of psychosis, depression, and other issues affecting brain function like cause and effect.
I've seen the after effects long term. This is my main concern.

Thirty years in emergency service, I saw a lot of it as most of our calls were responding to medical calls , where we arrived usually before the ambulance due to the proximity of our Fire Halls in the cities areas.
I have seen what it has done to several acquaintances , lost jobs, lost business. took a header from a 500 ft. tower, families broken up, none of this is made up or a joke, these instances actually did happen.
