I'll agree somewhat to calling police, but not the threat. Start that nonsense and say goodbye to your guns and possibly freedom?
CO's are extremely busy and short handed, they can't be everywhere.

Contact the actual CO for your area. They are usually very good to deal with.
I gave up gun season because of trespassing not worth the grief! Seems it gets worse maybe if the fines were increased people would get the message.
If you are nothing shy of 100% sure that they do not have permission to be on that land and you want something done call 911 when they are there. 911 prompts an immediate response. This was recommended to me by a police officer earlier this year.

I not only lost a hunting buddy but a friend to trespassing, 2 years ago he decided that getting a shot at this large 10 point was worth the risk of trespassing. When he told me this I told him it was not right, he said the owner would never know and I argued it was not the point. I told him that if got a deer I would not help and nor would my atv, well that morning he got it and no I did not help nor would I allow him use of my atv, he ended up having to quarter the deer to get it out, and needless to say I have not hunted with him since,
Im ok with that, but I am almost disappointed in myself for not reporting him as well, as after the fact I came to the conclusion that he is not different than all the people that we had complained about when people trespassed on us,
You can do all the threatening that you want, also, I believe the fine for trespassing is like a $50 fine, so really is it even a deterrent from trespassing for an individual. If you don't have the ethics or morality, all the threats and fines will not stop it only respect for others will stop it.
I do like the idea of tire valve removal, but I would not threaten someone and then do it as I am sure that the charge for malicious damage to personal property is probably more expensive than trespassing..
Mischief to private property is not a good pinch to get stuck with (Sect 430 CCC) . The original charge may be of a fairly minor nature and could be a summary conviction offense, but,it's criminal and "mischief" casts a wide net which will haunt you forever. The set fine under FWCAct is $150. To me,it's not worth it,no way,no how.
If you break the law, to get even with trespassers , you are no better than them.
i find it interesting that the OPP won't respond to this however had plenty of time to track me down 2 weeks after i allegedly bumped a mailbox with my boat backing up (the thing didn't even fall over). didn't feel a thing and no marks to speak of, but sure had to speak with them.
A mailbox being federal property, might have something to do with that. Or maybe leaving the scene of an accident?
