"Oh and fresh survey stakes" you said. That tells me right away that they believe they are on their own property. Maybe it was recently sold and that's why the pins are there. Maybe check with the municipality. Good luck getting it worked out.

Fresh survey stakes? Any chances that you're mistaken as to property lines? It happens more than you'd think. I know many landowners that were surprised by surveys. You really need to be on point with this before removing someone's gear. Mistakes can be very costly. Once you're positive with proof of property lines,you need to properly post the property. Then,if you need to get forceful,you have all the horses on your side.Quote:

I paid for the survey 6 years ago no it’s not neighbours hunting my property and it’s a open bean field not bush
And I have permission to hunt that property we don’t but I appreciate being able to retrieve which we never needed to

I recently took over 100 acres of prime Norfolk County and have been posting with signs and red dots for the same reason. No survey was done but I'm following the old fence line to keep it legal.
