Sounds like we have the same strategy �� I'm always trying to find the spot everyone else is too lazy to get to. Just wish that's where the birds want to be.

Well, I laughed so HARD when I read this ^^^ now (past midnight) that I woke up my wife and my daughter AND my dog!!! :D

My own story... Haven't bought my stamp yet. Have gun. Have ammo. Have no place to go! Still wishing for some decent fishing, but it's already hunting season again..??!

For a bit I thought I had given away my hunting spot.
Thanks for the caution I know its a different world now a days. So far the public has been kind. Kind of like the attached info as in the past have been accused of photo counterfeiting here at least this way you know they are authentic.

I went north for the first 3 days of the hunt to stay with a buddy, got back last night. We got 19 on opener, we thought we had 20 so started packing up at 8:10. CO drove out to us and made his check and counted the birds. We only had 19, guess it better to count high then low. Friday was a bit tougher, we only got 10. Saturday was even worse only got 4. Lots of hunters out and lots of shooting on the opener. Still not bad for 3 days of hunting. Last year we got 34, but hunted 4 days.

Also there had to be 500 ducks flying around the field on Thursday and Friday,

Sounds like you had a great time. Suggest an edit to celebrate the outing. At least for me the enjoyment out isn't measured by the numbers taken. ( I do concede though its the icing on the cake)
