He's looking and feeling much better today. Yesterday I went out with a friend and shot a nice bird - first bird in 6 years without a dog. Anyone getting into some action this week near the Quinte area? I have the first half of the week off. I feel for you. I remember a few years ago my GSP cut her paw right in the middle of the woodcock migration. Not fun.
He don't look impressed with the tube or the cone of shame..( "UP" reference)

Wishing your dog a quick recovery.
They are all amazing animals and I have seen many suffer the consequences of their desire to hunt.
My GSP is now six but still charges ahead like a freight train - and misses all the woodcock pretty much!
Three years ago it cost me $700 to remove a thorn from his eye...
Give your puppy a good rest and he will be great again for many years to come.
