Not surprised. We were on the back bays November 16th spudding around. 4 to 6 inches at that time with a mix of grey/clear. This was in about 3 feet of water about 10 feet from shore on Nov 16th and was where we were getting out pails and pots of water for the weekend as cottage water was already shut down:

I would love be to fishing up there now . Unfortunately I'm going to have to wait for march until I get up there boo. ..

So in the mean time I guess I will wait for simcoe lol. Probably around the holidays as usual.


Good luck on the early ice . Or late ice I'm usually fishing up that in November.
