I catch them all the time in the summer. They are very plentiful in this.small lake, however they seem to disappear in winter. I need to find where they go. Anybody know where they go?

Did you ever fish in deeper water of your lake for them? I heard they like warm water.
Maybe deep is a little warmer. I remember a coal generating station warm water output pipe in March on Lake Ontario a number of years, I saw lots of them
That's an interesting idea. I know areas that are deep near open water, but no warmer areas that I can think of. I wonder if near the open water is a good spot because of oxygenQuote:
