No it should be rolled out by the government if anything, just like they are doing now. The only thing I think they got right was that charities (except for the WE foundation) are not suited for things like this. Why should millions of dollars be paid in administration fees when we are in a major deficit and so far now it seems people on government payroll are able to do it. And lets face it, should 'Ban-ada' really be spending 500 million on volunteer work? Its just a ploy to buy liberal votes. Vote grooming at its best. The whole program should be ended. When I did "volunteer work" for highschool I actually volunteered and made a difference, I wasnt nor should I have been paid to "volunteer".
Its a double edged sword giving money to students who still live at home. The youth will feel more inclined to vote for those that gave them the free cheese and also gain a few parent's votes for helping keep their kids occupied and not rag on them for money when there is a huge recession in effect.
For the responsible youth that have jobs, they arent going to benefit from this program. I had a fulltime job in highschool, made 600 a week take home, I wouldn't have quit my job to go collect turdough bucks. Just fueling the liberal mentality that everything in life should just be given to you on a silver platter like Justin is used to.
