Be careful, they'll take away deer hunting too, the way things are going ... the general public is clueless, unless you are talking about Kanye West or Kim Kardashian ... oh, and everyone is apparently a COVID expert.

i wonder if its the misconception that the spring turkey is where people get shot the most and is the most different, not realizing that other game is open?
or are there rules about other small game and waterfowl too there?

No incidents of that nature have ever been reported that would lead to any misconceptions. County council has arbitrarily shut down hunting on their public properties without regard to other open seasons. Their reasoning is unknown.

I just found out that the OFAH makes yearly donations to several Conservation Authorities that support hunting and angling to provide assistance with maintenance and various other projects. I sure hope Northumberland County Forest isn't one of them.
