thanks Paul.....looks like a great turnout. as for food, I'm bringing along some Wild Boar Summer Sausage for out on the ice for everyone or those with-in 50 yards of me to try a slice , talked the wife into making her wild boar and lean ground beef and pork meatballs but they won't go far...................
and working on a few prizes for end of the day.
So how is this working? Are we all meeting at the place or do we just come and walk in the lake?
Il be there waiting but anyone there past 7 Just walk out il leave a pylon at the driveway and just follow south you can't miss us
think there should be a steady stream of people from 6:30 am onto probably 8:00 am so think it will be pretty easy to spot.
i can wear my santa hat if that will help?

sweet so drop gear off at 310 dundas and park at salina. this is my first time at BOQ its a nice easy way to fish the lake!
Wish I could make it but I've got to work this weekend. Got two 10+lbs this morning off Big Island.
Matt might be coming out to see me play Friday night so he will be out and in fine shape.
And folks no rush come anytime we will be there all day

I'll be there with sherlockbonez (Ken) We will be leaving bowmanville around 4:30 and plan on getting to the bait store around 5:40, then heading to the meet and get out on the ice.
I have a few lures still in mfg packing that I will be more then happy to donate. I can also bring a moose roast or some steaks to donate if anyone is interested.
$2 or $5 for the big fish doesn't matter to me, just looking forward to being out there.
don't think I can make this trip if we cant bring the sled ...I have just to much to walk out .

So I'm here now , just got a visit from a biologist from the mnr. Asked where she got on and there is a launch right across from where we will be. North shore just to the west of the bay bridge. So if anyone is wanting to bring a sled or quad that's the spot to go on. 11+ inches of ice out here still. Snowing and howling out here now

Celebrating my daughter's 18th birthday which could be done last weekend, partly because the storm and partly because of my ex-wife! I had planned on coming and bringing either the boat of the ATV, the Otter ice cabin, power auger and my wife as I figured it would only bean hour or so from the cottage. I would have especially come if Black Russians were involved - I haven't seen the "Hedgehog" in a while. (White Lake joke for the rest of you!)Quote:

Paul and Ken did a great job with this. Thanks to them for putting this together as I had a great time. It was great seeing everybody show up and getting to actually meet some folks I had never met before. Of course it was great to see folks I hadn't seen in quite some time as well.

I wish I could have gone instead of shopping for Prom dresses with my daughter. Oh well it was for her 18th birthday and she's an only child. I was thinking of all of you the whole time. I had everything ready to drive down from the cottage (about 1 hour north). Next year for sure.
