GW...Again with your vivid imagination, you must have one crowded mind. I love christmas, it is a pagan celebration.

So , you just make stuff up. Nice. As I said, christmas was originally a pagan celebration, absconded by christians in the 4th century. So of course I celebrate it.
Nope, All based on things you have said. Correct me if I am wrong but you were consulting one member here about his faith. Christmas technically a Christian belief, yes it was taken from the Pagans but is now considered a Christian holiday, probably why Christian songs are sung.
So a natural assumption is you are probably anti Christmas. You are anti Christian and against anyone who is Christian, we know that from your posts.
You bring this on yourself from your behavior on here you admitted to being a troll you have an anti gun stance expect to be treated that way.
Wait, you're saying the whole world in the 4th century celebrated this as a pagan event ... like did they have twitter and Instagram back then, oh and Amazon ... globalization must have been amazing ... from the so called "4 corners of the earth" everyone was practicing paganism ... hmmm.
How about this ... SOME were celebrating it as a pagan ritual ... but other celebrated it as Christ their Saviour's birth. Dating back to the 4th century, there are entries which put Christ's death on Dec. 25th. Don't let the christmas lights fool you ... oh, wait they have ... you've been sucked in by their sorcery!! They have brainwashed your mind into thinking CHRIST-mas was a global pagan celebration. Nice move, trying to explain the last 2000 years in one sentence.
So SOME people made it a pagan celebration ... but then those with good hearts stole it back, by making it the Season of Giving ... as Christ has given to us. You see, Christianity Lives!!
No doubt it represents the birth of Christ, our Savior, and serves as a reminder to us, that Kindness and Love, as Christ showed us, are the greatest of gifts.
There is no mention in the bible of the date, the supposed christ was born. I have been married to a devout catholic for 35 years. She taught in a catholic school for 30 years, and goes to church weekly. Do you? I have no problem with christians at all, no more than muslims or jews. As long as their belief in the supernatural , does not affect my life, have at er.
Why yes I do go to church weekly ... but that doesn't make you a Christian. I mean you could go to church weekly for the gospel singing and still not believe! So, don't think attending a mass for 1h a week buys you many credits with God.
Because you don't believe the Bible is the Word of God ... on this occasion, I am happy to report that a NON-BIBLICAL SOURCE, Roman logs dating back to the 4th century record the death of Jesus on Dec 25th ... but wait, let me hear it from you ... that was made up right?? Because it just can't be possible! Right ... and yes, I'm being sarcastic ... because I know you don't care to know the truth ... unless it only perfectly fits your beliefs.
I do not only believe that the bible is not the word of god, but I believe there is no god, so everything attributed to him is redundant. Stating what i believe , is not making fun of your beliefs, any more than you stating yours makes fun of mine. I believe those beliefs you have are irrelevant. You believe that I am wrong, and I believe that you are. It's a draw. As I have said before, faith in something does not make it true.
Personally I am Agnostic but I DO NOT believe in slamming anyone for their religious beliefs, it has become common practice to specifically slam Christians in Canada more then any other religion.
