Let’s think things through with an open mind.

Putin invades Ukraine. He uses hostile means (bullets and bombs) to bring about a governmental change in Ukraine. While in Ukraine he causes death and chaos. You would have us believe that Putin is doing this to better Ukraine and it’s population?
