Most Police Constables don't have law degrees and I know Mr. Blair is no exception. When he makes statements that "this isn't illegal" or "that isn't illegal" and this gem "that's not what was intended",he comes off as an absolute idiot who has no concept of how skewed and screwed the proposed legislation has become. Before he spouts off and misleads Canadians further,wouldn't you think he'd,at least,ask someone who is a lawyer? The way the legislation is written,there's no doubt that 10 and 12 ga shotguns are caught up in it (whether inadvertent or not....some say NOT) and unless that section is amended in it's entirety,that's going to be a big frickin' problem. How Blair keeps doubling down on errors like that amazes me. To me,it goes to show the obstinence and arrogance of a Liberal bureaucrat. These guys need to smarten up or resign and let someone who actually knows WTH they're doing to sit in the chair. It's just getting beyond ridiculous.
