I got about halfway through this thread and seen the division already created by it. It is clear people have strong views. For those who are saying you are putting others at risk..that is your problem. A problem that was supposed be addressed as Trudeau stated last February, "once we get vaccinated all will return to normal" . Ok, if that is the case, then you go ahead and take the jab for you, then you are safe...but are you. The jab doesn't work, and will require boosters.

For those who say you are putting others at risk, or taking a hospital bed. The beds are being occupied by the same people who get sick from Influenza A and B. This risk group is and will always be those with comorbidity issues..not the general population.

So for those who are trying to infringe on other peoples choices, you are and should be minding your own business, and taking what precautions are correct and safe for you. Let the rest of us alone in choices.

If the jab doesn't work why are the cases dropping? And on tonights news cases in Arkansas are way up and hospital beds are scarce compared to the national average. Why? Well it just so happens that they are way behind in getting vaccinated compared to the rest of the country. But I'm sure the anti vacksers will have some googled up excuse that makes sense.

The cases are dropping because it is summer here in Canada. It is not Flu season. It has been this way like you know, the last 1,000 years.
Nothing anti vax about it. Simple common sense.
Shut the TV off. You will feel much better.

Maybe you need to ask yourself why cases dropped last summer without vaccines just like this year with vaccines?
You and some others must have a very short memory or watch to much MSM. Nothing much new this year compared to last.
If you and others are so confident the numbers are dropping because of vaccines, what will be your excuse when flu season hits and the numbers go back up? First it was people not staying home, then it was people not wearing masks, now the attack is on unvaccinated spreading the virus. With other provinces wide open no masks, the numbers are declining, how can than be it doesn't fit the narrative....lol.

Onset of summer undoubtedly helped - but how much?
We are not going to know until October how effective the vaccine is/was.

Its not just the vaccine thats doing its job. It's a combination of vaccines, wearing a mask and social distancing. Every area that has defied their useage has shown an increase or a sustained incidence of covid cases. But I guess for some this isn't proof that its working.

If I stand corrected the numbers declined last year without vaccines during summer just like every year this year included.
If the vaccines are the difference, how possibly do we have other provinces wide open no restrictions, no masks, many still unvaccinated and the numbers are in decline? The facts just do fit the narrative.
If the numbers go back up this coming flu season what then will MSM use for an excuse, probly it's because of the unvaccinated spreading it.
MSM is spreading more BS than anything else imo.
