As our finance minister supports the rental properties. Almost a third of the funding 444 million will go to a developer who already owns 36 thousands residential properties for rent and has a goal of 800 properties a month.
You can see by the actions that our finance minister is all on board with you'll own nothing and rent what you need. Yea more rental options lol.

Anyone have any bright ideas to increase the price of living. Taxes and farms tax soon to be meat taxes and climate tax and alcohol tax, tax your house your property ,your labor ,your gas .
Think we need more taxes to save us it will help the economy if we all pay more and receive less. The less we do the more it saves the planet.
Give give give and those that say they helping just keeps on getting ,getting and getting more. So who is it helping.
Anyone go through the generation increase? And how will that effect your grandchildren and great grandchildren. It's not substanable. That's what it's about for me the future of our children and their kids.
What did you pay for your first home then you kids first then look where your grandchildren is and what their kids future will look like.

The real estate is well passed the crisis point.
After it's been in the making for over 30 years. Housing has come down to when you were born or what your parents could offer.
Not how hard you work as it now takes 27 years to save for a 20% down payment in a major city. Not 5 years like it was.
A great piece by cbc broke down the numbers from 1990 to 1999 and the stats were troubling. Went from 33% percent in 1990 to just 3 % in 1999.
This guy has a few decent videos but he doesn't usually leave the comments open. I don't like that. Anyway it will take years if not a decade or better to fix it . If they continue to push rentals for the middle class I don't ever see it being fixed. People want their own homes they want to be able to afford their own homes. Definitely i think it plays into our productivity for the average Canadian.

Ya they want their own home , but also want every thing else. If you are eating out more than eating in, buying the latest and newest tech, and purchasing a car more than you can afford than ya you'll never be a home owner.Quote:

my opinion most people who want affordability really mean they want luxury and " keeping up with the Jones" without putting in the sacrifice and hard work that has to go into it. You are a good example of what it takes to get ahead. Simple things like buying in bulk breaking it down squeezing a penny to get a nickel out of it adds up, or you can uber eats it and wonder why you can't afford a home.Quote:

I've said it before how does the average person keep up with wall street. Blackstone just made another 10 billion dollar deal for rentals last week. Canadians are being left behind from corporate rentals. Our government just announced yesterday that they wont be able to buy existing homes. But they already own alot of them. Look at London, or peterborough over the last few years. They own large swaths of rental properties. But that new law does nothing when they started building completely new subdivisions for rentals.
Also if we do nothing it's sets the course of their predictions. Why do we need to keep giving them what they want?
Also it's better for our economy the mental health, suicide and crime rates. All are effected when the standard of living falls. If many think they already lost then what are they working for ? It plays alot on the mind and soul.
If we ignore it the trends show they will own nothing soon . In 10 years those people will be 45 and most never will be able to afford a home. Same goes with the brics if we ignore it will become a reality. The new grain deal will effect our markets. Their plan is to keep the usa inflation high. It's working .
