Well drinking water is a necessity of life, hanging out with Nazis isn't.
It's not a poor argument because it speaks to the level of organization and legitimacy of the protest.
So these truckers feel so strongly about "rights and freedoms" that they will break the law to disturb people living downtown but they won't break the law to insure that their protest is kept free of symbols of hate.
Dancing on the tomb of the unknown soldier. Desecration of the Terry Fox monument. Why didn't these "patriots" place those people under citizens arrest? Surely they feel so strongly about their civic duties that they know the lawful procedure for placing another citizen under arrest.
I'm sure most of our Grandparents killed Nazi's or helped with the effort so that you could share that opinion with us. I'm certain my Grandfathers would've slapped me if I shared the same opinion as you though. A million+ people peacefully protesting is a highly organized and disciplined event in my mind. The grown toddlers throwing hissy fits all seem to be on the internet throwing about false allegations of bamboozling money. As for the girl dancing on the cenotaph I know my Grandfather spent about as much time in the stockade as he did in the air bombing Rommel and the Officers Hall and would've probably appreciated the lap dance even if he was dead.Quote:

It wasn't/isn't peaceful though. 4 men surrounded and threatened my friend with gangrape because she had a mask on. Luckily some cops materialized out of no where and escorted her out of there. Idiots where trying to flip a car, too drunk to succeed though. Not to mention the countless people having a Vietnam Era psy op launched against them with the horns going all night. I guess collateral damage is perfectly fine as long as you get to turn downtown into a giant tail gate party.Quote:

So there we have it -
2 "questionably confirmed" instances out of the 15k-25k protest participants.
Is that enough justification to question the legitimacy of the whole protest with those 2 ?
Another question to ask about that Nazi flag -- why wouldn't the person taking the pic of the flag did not "place those people under citizens arrest" but ran to submit this picture to the news?
Who knows, but this may have been antifa infiltrators working specifically to so MSM has something to latch onto - very well known tactic that been used in the past..
I’m sorry but maybe I’ve gone a bit nutty. You see, I think I live in Canada. I think I have freedom of expression, freedom of speech and freedom of peaceful assembly. None of those freedoms mean I can do what I want, when I want. There are always boundaries, and rightfully so. Perhaps in America violence is an acceptable manner to be heard, but it sure sounds like they just give in to a screaming toddler. That’s just not the Canadian way. Let the protesters protest! There’s always bad apples in every crowd, we can’t solely focus on that. The organizers would have done themselves a favour to condemn those actions. So far it’s been fairly peaceful and without major incident. Once they have outstayed there welcome the city will deal with it.
Their point was made, they are against the vaccine mandates. If they think a prolonged stay will change anything, it’s time to reflect on reality. It’s not in any governments best interest to bow down to protesters.
The supposed division in the country is being over played. Sure the PM said a bunch of stuff about anti-vaxxers but we know not everyone listens to the government so just move on.
The msm is as bad as it’s counter part the nmsm (not so mainstream media). Stop listening to both and you will be free.
We’re all fed up of the situation, it sucks. Anxiously waiting for change sucks. But it doesn’t mean it’s not coming. Stay positive.
