Others that weren't hospitalized, that are close to me:
- My uncle got very sick, was turned away from hospital because his symptoms weren't bad enough, then died a few days later in his home.
- My close cousin who I fish often with, just turned 50, got it, VERY VERY sick, but he wasn't put in ICU, although he went to hospital a few times due to trouble breathing. He still hasn't got back his sense of taste or smell after over a month of being better. He cannot taste anything.
- A more distant cousin ... she got it early on in 2020, it seems she wasn't severely sick from it, from what I understand ... but I didn't talk to her directly.
Other's I don't know directly, but I do know someone only 1 step removed:
- guy at work, both parents died from COVID
- guy at work, one that I personally know and went to ICU (in the numbers above) ... 40 year old guy beside him died of COVID in hospital. He literally saw him die due to trouble breathing ... they became friends (bedside buddies) while in ICU.
COVID is not your ordinary flu bug ... sorry guys, I've literally spoken to all the people I mention above, and they are very trusted people in my circle. Nothing like we've seen before. It's a BAD virus.
Can't tell you if the virus got out by accident, or on purpose ... but the virus is real, and it's worse than your ordinary flu. You don't want to get sick from it ... at least not without the vaccine.
