Liberals fail Canadians; vaccine inoculations are pitifully slow.

The cost of pharmaceuticals is largely a result of the RnD ( which would include clinical trials) fyi. That's why the get patents.

1) I don't understand the fear of getting one. I plan to. I accept the risk. Yes there's some risk but for most people that risk is no or little different than the risk of Covid, or everyday life.
2) I don't understand why people don't understand the logic of healthcare workers being at the front of the line. The more that the end up on the sidelines, the worse it gets and the longer this drags on. Plus, most healthcare workers would ( I think) fall into the age demographic we want getting it. The vast, the vast majority of cases are with those that are between the ages of 20-50. So whether thinking about the population at large, or their own small community ( of healthcare workers/patients). The faster 60%-70% of them are immune, the faster they reach herd immunity.

3) It boggles my mind, that JT seems to be getting a pass from the majority on how bandly they've bungled this.

Jben you have no idea of the risks of these vaccines are because the makers don't even know. Why do you think the pharmaceutical
companies hold no liability for their covid vaccines?
Considering who the people are that are dieing from covid, I think I will take my chances.
After all for the people who have already had covid and beat it relatively easy, why would they want to take a use at own risk pharmaceutical?

If..and a big IF, I get one this year, it'll be of the 'Traditional' ones soon to hit the market:

Worst case. death. My risk are about the same, in fact Id bet the risk of death from Covid while fairly small are higher.
Severe side effects from Covid are permanent lung and heart damage. Vaccine? hard to imagine worse.
Mild....Too each their own

Do we all know or are we all not aware of extremely fit, young people including professional athletes who now have severe, permanent debilitating damage from Covid? And not small percentages. 20%

"Go figure" Fishfood. But what in this mad world does make sense?

I linked the study pertaining to heart damage in the last thread on vaccines. And the percentages of Covid survivors with heart damage are not small. Just went looking for it again, couldn't find the same one. But simple searches on heart/lung damage from Covid will give everyone plenty of reading.

Without data to support this would be classed as fear mongering.

Remember, most politicians and TV personalities were quite happy to report that they had been infected with covid.
Most if not all of them had a quick and successful recovery.

Young professional athletes are rarely severely affected unless they happen to have a morbidity.

No worries JBen, regular old pneumonia was causing long term effects on the heart and lungs before the covid narrative came to pass. Otherwise healthy hockey players have been known to drop dead on the ice from a heart attack every now and then as well.

I'll take a disease with a year of patient treatment data available before injecting myself with an experiment. Devil you know, or somewhat know in this case.

The probability, of all these medical professionals, from ALL OVER THE WORLD. ALL BEING IN ON THE SAME CONSIPIRACY....Or being hoodwinked, or "whatever"...
