I have no problem with that, although today at least in Ontario your probably going to get asked for that PAL if your out and about.Quote:

Not being checked is a matter of luck ,and perhaps hunting in less frequent areas.

All is good as long as all is good -and we had no issues.
I have been checked at least 5 separate times, several times on roadside check's in Northern Ontario, once by the OPP when the registry was in full swing and at least 3 times at the camp. Even had a CO walk right into the camp from the road. All in order all times. I am in wmu 60Quote:

Actually this summer fishing in Espanola I don't really remember the CO asking for my Outdoors card.
I showed him the one fish I had and we chatted a bit. Didn't ask for my boating card either.
Under careful consideration I do feel it would be better NOT to tell anyone the previous non-restricted firearms were sold or transferred to another PAL holder. You would be much better just saying it broke years ago and you cut it up and threw it away.

I think I have been asked for my PAL/validation/game seal once when we were gun hunting during the dark days of the gun registry. I get been asked for my fishing license and boat license a couple of times a year.Quote:
