Well if Joe got the ball rolling I'll kick the ball again to keep it rolling. I too would get a laugh out of some dude with a mustache and adams apple running down the track and winning while competing against a full field of biological women. My isn't that something to be proud of being physically bigger and stronger biologically and being proud of your feat all well knowing you had the advantage from the get go. Also if Joe would be uncomfortable if his daughter did marry someone from a different race that is his FREE choice just as it was his daughter FREE choice to marry someone of a different race as we are still supposed to be free to choose aren't we. Well surprisingly I can agree with that and you can agree in turn that in all probability Joe might loose his daughter's friendship and they become estranged over this marriage. Its happened plenty of times in the past one party not being able to overcome their bias or feel they have to exert their will on another person. So Joe has the freedom to make that decision but has to live with the outcome.

Well to put all you guys a ease - my daughter married a real nice guy who is white and of the same religion and after many years of marriage and 3 kids they are and have been very happy - now lets talk about the core issue - if I as a free man have an opinion I have every right to express it - so when I say that I would not like to see my daughter marry a person of a different race that is my opinion - now if you think that I shouldn't feel that way - that's your opinion - why should my opinion be put down in favor of yours - there is a great danger in all of this - when a society starts to limit discussion and people are no longer able to express their opinion without being called bigots, racists .etc than we are on the path of losing one of the most important freedoms -

Many of you may be too young to know how life was back in the 40s and 50s - but when one considers what the liberal progressives have done - one can see the destruction of society - here are a few examples -

Divorce - back then it was rare for any one to get divorced - I personally did not know anyone who was divorced - only people in Hollywood did that - now a little over 50% of marriages end up in divorce with everyone suffering especially if there are kids involved - kids are often handed back and forth like a sack of potatoes

Drugs - no one that I knew took drugs - they were not even around - overdoses didn't occur and there was no need to spend million of dollars fighting the drug war - and millions of lives were not destroyed

Abortions - these were outlawed and the only ones that occurred were illegally done - unfortunately this was sad situation but the point is that today millions of babies are done away each year in clinics - many on the verge of being born - and we have the nerve to look at the Nazi death camps with horror -

Crime - back in those days people knew that the police would be there to protect them - shop and store owners knew that the police would protect their establishments for looting and smash and grab occurrences - not so today - mobs steal with impunity while the cops watch - because of liberal politicians - mobs are taking over

Basic rights - millions have fought and died so that we can live as freedom men - able to make choices that we feel are appropriate - today the liberal progressives are trying their best to take these freedoms away from the people - passing laws that make government the ultimate decision maker - required vaccines, what is taught in school, when you can assemble, .etc

Morality - today everything goes - things that were considered wrong and immoral and shameful are part of the normal life style - when you look at the garbage in movies and on TV you wonder what the heck is going on - just about any sexual behavior is considered ok - and you have so many well known people crawling in this slime

Character - there was a time when young boys had a pocket knife in their pocket and it was considered normal - when you could leave the keys in your car that was parked out on the street - when young girls could take a walk in the evening without worry if it is safe - when parents could send their kids to school without fear of them being shot - when the teachers taught the basics of education and not a bunch of liberal social issues which often contradicted the wishes of the parents - when armed cops were not needed in the schools -

I could go on and on - sure there were things that needed to be corrected in those days but these were little in comparison to what has happened - so to all those who push the liberal progressive agenda - you really screwed things up - as a result our western civilization is dying and it won't be long when people look back and wonder what happened - the only hope is that people wise up and they get rid of the liberal progressive leaders and put strong, moral leaders with good character in positions of influence - maybe it's already too late

A big thing I remember Joe, was almost every kid had a 'stay at home' Mom back then. We came home from school and Mom was there to talk about what ever happened that day and have a nice home cooked meal ready for supper. A man could afford to buy a house and car on a single income.

You're right, progressive women movements tore the Mom out of the house and put her into the workforce.

Everything changed after that.

Following Emancipation, Black people were theoretically equal before the law, including theoretical suffrage for Black women from 1920. However, in reality, most Black men and women were effectively barred from voting from around 1870 until the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

So Joe you lived for most of your life in a supposed great democracy where a fifth of the population was denied the right to vote in one way or another. No wonder you are nostalgic for a return to the old days.

But those days are gone and now we have half your country folks now trying to suppress the vote in many States a tried and true old technique. But it aint gonna work any longer, times up Joe.
