We had a monster tom with a very long beard strut into our backyard this morning. Chances of seeing him three days from now? Slim. I'll be going out anyway but I'm starting to think turkeys are taunting me. LOL.

If you have a gobbler strutting, there are other birds around. If your property holds hens during the laying and incubation periods, there will be gobbler(s) or jakes around someplace. Perseverance pays off…..Quote:

I keep checking the weather, now winds are not to bad and rain starts after legal time, so will have time to get into the tent before the rain starts which works for me.
