right on ! my father has hunted this area all his life with his uncles since he was about 17 18! i agree with a little snow on the ground things over there move like crazy! where do you hunt now?

Well for those of you looking for snow, you might just get your wish.... WMU 60 weather forecast for the first week are calling for snow Tuesday and Wednsday with - 2 to -4 degree temps in the evening to highs of + 3 to plus 4... To all those heading out for the rifle opener next week " Best of Luck "
love hunting in snow. wearing whites makes it so much more fun and easier to get whatever you are hunting, except turkey.
forecast says single digits here southern ontario. i'll take it!
Have mentioned in another thread that I have noticed (anecdotally, on my cams at least) that we're seeing more previously unseen bucks over the past couple of days. I have a "doe hole" stand that had no bucks visiting all October but they're now starting to show up following the does loosely. Movement is up, no daylight movement zombies yet but it's starting I'd say
I’m heading out to deer camp on Friday. There’s already a 3-4” of snow on the ground. The forecast is calling for temps near freezing. Snow is nice for hunting, but I don’t like it when it gets cold… especially if it’s windy. Good luck to all that are out or heading out soon.
