Whew, safe in WMU 13 - 2500 additional tags.
Amazing, 2500 excess tags in 13 after the severe winter and high deer mortality, yet in the southwest, 92,93,and 94, no excess tags. No evidence of winter mortality, as admitted by the responsible biologist in Aylmer. They sure didn't base this decision on sound science !!Quote:

In 2014 a total of 17,545 additional deer seals will be available in participating WMUs. Most of these seals will be offered for sale through an automated telephone system or by Internet from July 16, 2014 to July 31, 2014, on a first come, first served basis.

Did I read the chart right......no extra seals in wmu 49 and wmu 90 also no extras for the controlled hunt in 90.......wow!!

In town is only the rural and semi-rural areas on the outskirts of the city limits. Bow only, yes, and you must be elevated a minimum of 3 metres. If it is not your property, then you must have written permission of the property owner, also with permission to dress the deer on the property if you do it there. If there is another property within 75 metres, then you must have signed permission from that property owner as well. You must not be closer than 75 metres to a dwelling or roadway. No field dressing animals on City land or the roadways. No use of bait until Nov 1st.Quote:
