For Wild Fur(vs Ranch Fur)
Prep the pelt per the NAFA Manual(Google)
Google NAFA pick up locations for your Area(Ontario SouthEast, Ontario SouthWest, etc.)and drop off pelts, fill out paperwork.
OR you can set up an account online and NAFA will send bags for you to use to ship to them.
They post up the lotting letters so you can see what you pelts grade etc.
Then they send you a check and a receipt.

here is what the MNR emailed me :

Hi Chris,
Thank you for the inquiry.

The holder of a small game licence may, without any other licence, sell pelts of furbearing mammals that were killed under that licence during the open season. Since the season is open all year in your Wildlife Management Unit (WMU), you may sell the pelts of coyotes that you have killed under the authority of your small game licence. Here is a link for the Fur Auctions in Ontario. The websites will provide you with information on shipping your pelts to them and how to prepare them:

This thread is 7 years old,but,other than prices (right now they're in the tank),not a lot has changed. Taxidermists don't work cheap,so,having a pelt prepared by them for you to sell later might be cost prohibitive. Pelts can be prepared for shipping to the fur auction as a DIY project or,YouTube has lots of videos on how to tan it yourself. Oh,BTW,I see this is your first post. Welcome to the forum.

The pelts get shipped to auction not tanned. Go to Fur Harvester Auction and look for the pelt handling manual. As well on you tube there is a lot of videos about fur handling. The guys from coon creek have a good series of videos that you can follow.
