OK...am I reading this wrong? "Advantage Multi 55" addresses fleas and a wide variety of worms but not ticks. "Advantix" is for fleas and ticks and some worms. I can't find an Advantix Multi?
Spelled it wrong. Sorry. You are on the bit this morning.:-) Now get out there and train those dogs. I bet you have a kennel - full already.:-)
Advantix
Advantage multi
Thanks Sharon. Actually, it was my mistake. When I keyed in Advantix Multi 55 I didn't get anything. Now that I entered Advantix 55, I got Advantix II but for dogs up to 55 lbs so I guess it's the same stuff I used last year.
A bit late jumping into this thread, my apologies - in case I missed it - what was the #1 recommended, and the best place to buy it?
I'm guessing Advantix Multi - but, unable to find it.
My spelling led you a stray.Sorry.
There is Advantage Multi - fleas,( NO tick killing), and a huge of variety of mites /worms only. Often used for mange.
Recommended by several was Advantix . Some use Advantix 2 and some use Advantix . Both kill fleas and ticks.
Advantix 2 is the newest product ( increased repellency for ticks
Advantix :available in Canada , different colored boxes depending on the weight of your dog
Google those two for more info.

Human or veterinary, I would be very cautious ordering any meds from the web!!! Especially, when it's way cheaper and you cannot trace it back to a reputable wholesaler, and that'll be tough for an individual if it's sold outside a licensed pharmacy (like many of non-prescription over the counter stuff).
thanks to tons of regulations, all drugs (incl. veterinary, as the rules are in principle the same now) are expensive. the only way to get it really cheap is not to follow ANY rules, and then there's a lot of money to be made if you can smuggle it into the supply chain.
well, I guess you can only hope to get a well-made counterfeit that won't do anything, including not to cause adverse events.
seriously, if you want to do your wallet a favour, do your dog a favour, too – don’t buy counterfeit meds from ebay or the like
Anyway, some thoughts (see other links) for those who purchase their meds via www:
