Not when you hunting in the centre of the bush....a breeze will always be in a 'wrong' direction...that's why I started to use the scent sticks to mask my scent. Turns out they work well.Quote:

Looks Like I'm going to have to add another deer lure to the arsenal! Good to hear others chime in on the effectiveness of such scent lures. Kind of like fishing with scents - some have confidence in it, and others look at it as a deterrent. To each his own.
